Led by Music Director Giancarlo Guerrero and President and CEO Alan D. Valentine, the GRAMMY® Award-winning Nashville Symphony has earned international recognition for its artistic achievement and its acoustically superb concert hall, Schermerhorn Symphony Center. With 140 performances annually, the 81-member orchestra is an arts leader in Middle Tennessee and beyond, offering a broad range of classical, pops, jazz, special events, and family concerts. In addition to its concert schedule, the ensemble provides numerous education and community engagement programs that reach more than 200,000 people annually. The Nashville Symphony is recognized as a leading recording orchestra, having released 21 recordings since 2000. The orchestra has earned 14 GRAMMY® nominations and seven GRAMMY® wins.
