Wheeler Mission Ministries


Wheeler Mission Ministries is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to homeless, poor, and needy of central Indiana without regard to race, color, creed, national origin or religion. Founded in 1893, Wheeler is the oldest continuously operating ministry of its kind in the state of Indiana. With seven locations, dozens of ministries, a budget of $8.5 Million, and about 120 employees, Wheeler is the also the largest and most diverse ministry of its kind in the state. Please note, that on October 1, 2015, Wheeler Mission Ministries officially merged with Backstreet Missions. Wheeler Mission Ministries will assume day-to-day operations.

How Your Donation Helps

30.6% of your car donation will go toward helping Wheeler Mission Ministries Inc. with their project: Substance Abuse Treatment Program.

28.0% will go toward the project: Men's Ministry & Shelter.

23.4% will go toward the project: Women's Shelter Program.
