An opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith, in a friendly, open and informal environment.
Alpha USA is at a unique position in its history. Twenty plus years of experience running Alpha in the American context is colliding with what is seen to be a growing 'crisis' in the US Church. In just two years, the percentage of Americans who qualify as "post-Christian" rose by 7 percentage points, from 37% in 2013 to 44% in 2015. Across the United States, cities in every state are becoming more post-Christian.Because of this, Church Leaders are now more open to trying new things. In particular, they are interested in creating environments where those outside of the church feel safe bringing questions they have about Christianity and feeling welcomed, heard and not judged. Leaders are discovering that Alpha can provide this space within their church. The growing need for a tool like Alpha means it is poised for rapid expansion in the US. We see early signs that this is true as some of the largest churches in America adopt Alpha as their core church strategy.

At present, these eight very influential universities export spiritual darkness into our culture through secularized leadership. It will take prayer, effort and financial resources to reach these future leaders for Christ.

Training leaders globally to impact their world locally
Haggai Institute was founded in 1969 to equip Asian, African and Latin American Christian leaders - who will train others - to reach their own people for Christ. That's what we mean by start from within and begin at the top. It is international and interdenominational, a worldwide network of Christian Leaders - men and women, ordained and lay - trained by the best non-Western faculty, using non-Western materials and methods. The training program is headquartered in Singapore, a neutral hub of the developing world. These leaders are trained in advanced evangelistic communications and managerial techniques. They are also trained to pass on these techniques in training sessions which they conduct themselves in their homelands.
Organized in 1974 by Carl Wilson, Worldwide Discipleship Association (WDA) serves the Church worldwide by developing Christ-like character in people and equipping them to disciple others according to the pattern Jesus used to train His disciples. We envision a worldwide network of interconnected ministries committed to the ongoing process of Christ-like sanctification and renewal, and staffed by teams of leaders who are trained using a biblical pattern of discipleship. Realizing the strategic position held by universities as centers of influence in our culture, WDA initiated its ministry on college campuses. We continue to build disciples on college campuses, but also focus on developing other centers, partnerships, publications and resources that equip disciple builders, both in the US and overseas.

Share the bread of life with a starving world
Hope For The Hungry is an interdenominational ministry focusing on assisting children worldwide, and serving missionaries who have responded to God's call. We exist to make a substantial contribution toward 'Sharing the Bread of Life with a Starving World.' That entails meeting both the spiritual and physical needs that exist among the people God has called us to serve. We stress that while physical assistance is scripturally mandated, feeding the body without feeding the spirit, ultimately, leads only to death. We also stress that it is essential to the process of world evangelization to work through Christian leaders within the group of people we are striving to reach for Jesus. A good portion of our energies, therefore, is spent in developing and encouraging promising foreign-national Christian leaders.

First in the hearts of all Christian people is the imperative to share the Gospel with the world, to evangelize, to make disciples for Jesus Christ. Second, it is our desire to teach those who are disciples of Jesus all that He commanded His disciples to do. To this end, we teach the Bible with a view to helping people make their own lives work while they are a positive influence and blessing to those around them. Our primary mission is carried out through the Born to Win Radio Program, literature, essays both in print and on the Internet, and published books. We also make available tape recorded sermons and an Adult Bible Studies Course in our CEM Bookstore.

Assisting the Church by equipping and igniting Christians to share their faith in Jesus Christ with the "least of these"
Bill Glass BEHIND THE WALLS was founded in 1969 with one mission: to assist the Church by equipping and igniting Christians to share their faith in Jesus Christ with the "least of these." Each year thousands of volunteers join our prison ministry to lead tens of thousands of inmates to life-changing decisions for Jesus. In the first 40 years more than 1,000,000 of these decisions were recorded. For a great number of the volunteers our event was the first experience in sharing the Gospel with others, and has since emboldened them to step out of the "comfort zone" to be more active in sharing their faith. By learning to share faith in prison you are tapped into a unique training opportunity with eternal significance with a proven impact on society.
