An opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith, in a friendly, open and informal environment.
Alpha USA is at a unique position in its history. Twenty plus years of experience running Alpha in the American context is colliding with what is seen to be a growing 'crisis' in the US Church. In just two years, the percentage of Americans who qualify as "post-Christian" rose by 7 percentage points, from 37% in 2013 to 44% in 2015. Across the United States, cities in every state are becoming more post-Christian.Because of this, Church Leaders are now more open to trying new things. In particular, they are interested in creating environments where those outside of the church feel safe bringing questions they have about Christianity and feeling welcomed, heard and not judged. Leaders are discovering that Alpha can provide this space within their church. The growing need for a tool like Alpha means it is poised for rapid expansion in the US. We see early signs that this is true as some of the largest churches in America adopt Alpha as their core church strategy.

Homelessness was not yet a term that was associated with persons who had unfortunate circumstances. The Mission has expanded its services to offer three meals daily, a 24-hour walk in center, showers and clean clothing, up to 150 emergency shelter beds nightly, a 21-bed Residential Addiction Recovery Program, a Career Education Center, Chapel services, and referral information. Hope Coach is a van sent out daily providing lunches, bottled drinks, Christian literature, blankets and a friendly word of encouragement to the homeless on the streets. Last year we:* Provided 11,293 bed-nights of shelter;* Provided 14,503 hours of classroom programming for men in our recovery program;* Served 285,812 meals* Distributed 9,614 cases of water; and* Partnered with 7,364 volunteers.
A community resource center that helps improve lives
Christian Center Of Park City (CCPC) is a Christian humanitarian, community-focused resource center that helps improve the lives of people and communities through meeting immediate and basic needs, serving as a leading networker of community resources, offering counseling services and spiritual care support, championing advocacy for those in need and most of all by giving hope. The focus area of the Center is primarily on the population centers of Summit and Wasatch counties. We require no membership, dues, or compliance with our faith traditions to be served by our programs and resources. While not a church, we partner with area churches, interfaith councils, secular agencies and individuals to demonstrate God's love in tangible ways.
Planting churches . . .transforming communities in the North Pacific Crescent
Founded in 1951, InterAct Ministries exists to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commission among unreached people groups. Stretched across the top of the North Pacific Ocean is a crescent with many communities and peoples hidden from the gospel. InterAct longs to see Jesus worshipped in every one of those communities, so that God's Glory might fill the North Pacific Crescent. Although current members come from a wide variety of denominational backgrounds (e.g. Baptist, Evangelical Free, Methodist, Christian & Missionary Alliance, Independent, and more), InterAct Ministries is a non-denominational, non-charismatic mission organization.
Hawaiian Islands Ministries (HIM) equips, embraces, emboldens, and encourages men, women and youth toward Christian transformation, unity, and lives that make a difference now and for eternity. HIM's ministry lives in those we serve. Alongside basics like prayer, worship, discipleship, and evangelism, HIM addresses hard issues like school violence, sexuality, poverty, and addictions. Leaders have been pulled back from burn-out, and new ministries birthed. Adults and youth have heard God's call, taking the unlimited resources of Jesus Christ to the homeless in Hawaii, the AIDS stricken in Africa, and the abandoned in Asia.
