Reclaiming the world's lost children
Abandoned Children's Fund's purpose is to rescue and restore the individuality and dignity of abandoned children through our hearts, arms and programs. Our households give abandoned children a path forward in their struggle for wholeness. They have food to eat, clean water to drink, a bed to sleep in and responsible adults with heartfelt love for them to grow and develop in. Along with the basic human daily needs of orphans, we work to build a worthwhile tomorrow, including the provision of an education, vocational training and mentoring, so that they have meaningful hopes for a brighter future. While these children had been abandoned, they are like any other child in the world. They like to play, enjoy an education and know they have dependable family relationships. They have survived longing for the day when they would have a good family to belong to where love is felt, where there is understanding and where there is the security of daily meals and no more fear and loneliness. Now, because of you, they get to enjoy it.

Gender Equality, Education, Healthcare, Sanitation & Hygiene
The Share and Care Foundation™, born 1982 in New Jersey, is the brainchild of a small group of Indian-Americans. SCF began with a very simple idea: Convert what is considered "waste" in the Western world into much needed help in the East. The idea became a reality when good quality used clothes and equipment-considered obsolete in the West but a huge leap forward in remote areas of the East-were soon being included in shipments. These supplies dramatically improved the quality of care in charitable hospitals. From its infancy, we realized the benefits of volunteerism. SCF volunteers see ourselves as catalysts, promoting low-cost, high-return programs at the grass-roots level, which have grown exponentially in last several years. We have been successful and instrumental in rebuilding lives in the rural communities of India where the government or the big nonprofits had little success. Our collaborative attitude and deep understanding of the rural issues helped overcome many challenges.

Working together to build communities
Haiti Outreach, Inc. is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Minnesota in the U.S. and Pignon, Haiti, that works with communities in Haiti on water, education and other projects that the communities initiate, help build and sustain. We operate using a 4-point community development model for long term sustainability to ensure that the projects will last over a long period of time. In order for this to happen, a maintenance program based on an economic system - a community savings account to which all users contribute and from which future repairs can be paid - is created and used. Our work is based on a grassroots effort involving community responsibility, participation and ownership, unlike many well-intentioned development projects that lack this economic sustainability element and end up creating a dependency.

Delivering essentials, developing opportunities
American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa's (AHARA) mission is to strive to alleviate the suffering from hunger, illiteracy, diseases, and poverty in the Horn of Africa, as well as help the east African community in Minnesota. The Horn of Africa has become the land of hunger, war, famine, and disease. The Horn of Africa is considered one of the poorest regions in the world, and ongoing droughts continue to plague this region. Long wars and ethnic conflicts have further complicated the already deplorable situation. The most recent United Nations studies estimate that 16 million people in the Horn of Africa are in urgent need of food and other humanitarian assistance.

Restoring hope to kids around the world since 1973.
Hope 4 Kids International strives to restore the dignity stripped away from innocent children that are suffering through extreme poverty and disease. We are committed to providing access to clean water in every community we serve along with providing relief to poverty-stricken villages by building hospitals, medical and dental clinics, and sponsoring over 2,500 AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in these communities.Hope 4 Kids International recently changed our corporate domicile to the state of Arizona. As a requirement, we had to change our tax identification number. This required us to file two partial 990s for 2015. If Charity Navigator were to only use one 990 for 2015, for evaluating our organization, the numbers would not be reflected properly. Because of this, Charity Navigator will not be posting a rating using the 2015 990. Our 2016 990 will be evaluated by Charity Navigator once it is filed with the IRS.

Founded in 1978, International Children's Care (ICC) is a private relief and development organization. Caring individuals, with no interest in personal gain, established ICC for the specific purpose of giving high quality care for needy children. ICC fulfills this primary directive of its charter without regard to the children's ethnic, political, or religious association. The ICC philosophy is that each child should grow up in a real home environment. Each child's unique circumstances determines how ICC applies this philosophy. If it is not possible for the child to live with its birth parents, ICC places the child in a loving, natural family unit. This may be a home on an ICC facility or an adoptive home.

Disaster relief & development since 1979
Founded in 1979, Operation USA helps communities alleviate the effects of disasters, disease and endemic poverty throughout the world by providing privately-funded relief, reconstruction and development aid. We provide material and financial assistance to grassroots organizations that promote sustainable development, leadership and capacity building, income generating activities, provide education and health services, and advocate on behalf of vulnerable people. Operation USA rapidly and expertly provides on-the-ground aid by sending vital life-saving supplies and cash grants to assist communities in rebuilding. Partnering with grassroots organizations, Operation USA specializes in reaching vulnerable populations who are in the greatest need, yet who are often ignored by governments and larger aid organizations.
